**About the opportunity**

We’re looking for a **Freight Handler** to join our diverse and hard-working team at our StarTrack facility based at the Perth Airport. With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.

This vacancy is for our night owls who enjoy a physically demanding role. This is a permanent full time opportunity within our night shift team working Sun-Thurs nights 11pm - 6.36am with flexibility to work overtime. This vacancy carries a 30% penalty for night shift along with a $50/week location allowance.

**You’ll be**
- Using your strong work ethic to help us keep delivering great service
- Handloading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the road
- Unloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse
- Wrapping freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper (you know - like the ones at the airport), electronically scanning parcels and updating documentation.

**About you**
- Our most physically demanding shift, you’re fit and can lift at least 30kg repeatedly - we assess this at a pre-employment medical check to help make sure you’re safe on the job
- You’re laser focused, even when the role gets repetitive
- You’re a team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connected
- You’re also an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- If you’ve got a forklift licence that’s a plus, since this comes handy moving freight around the warehouse
- You'll have previous night shift experience
