We are looking for a collaborative & authentic People & Culture Coordinator to join our team in a newly created role.
**Who are you?**
Working in collaboration with our Head of People & Culture, you will support and nurture our proudest asset - our People & Culture. You will be connected to all elements of our team's employment lifecycle, looking for opportunities to support and enhance our team's health & wellbeing.
Our People & Culture Coordinator is responsible for setting an exemplary standard for the culture we nurture here at ELK, maintaining a friendly, open, approachable and professional outlook at all times. This is a generalist people
- Be a positive, infectious advocate for our culture, brand and team
- Support with the accurate, timely administration of our people processes including onboarding, learning, communication, intranet maintenance, asset maintenance, security, award compliance and reporting
- Support the proactive sourcing and onboarding of talent, aligned with our vision and values across our retail, warehouse and office
- Be our health & safety champion, ensuring education & compliance are up to date across all workplaces
- Initiate & coordinate fun & engaging team health, wellbeing and volunteering initiatives maximising team participation and connectedness
- Support ensuring our teams are highly engaged in our ethical and environmental impact journey
**Our must haves**:
- post graduate qualifications in human resources or related (highly regarded)
- experience in a similar role, with exposure to people & culture legislation and processes including talent acquisition, learning & development and health & safety (required)
- previous exposure to office, retail & warehouse environments
- highly organised, proactive and positive mindset
- ability to work autonomously
- a close, personal alignment with our values and purpose
