About the Opportunity

A well-established organisation in Melbourne's northern suburbs is seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to join its leadership team. With new leadership and an exciting transformation underway, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by shaping culture, building capability, and embedding strong people practices that support growth.

The Role

As the People & Culture Manager, you'll partner closely with the CEO and senior leaders to deliver both strategic and hands-on outcomes across the full employee lifecycle. This role will suit someone who enjoys balancing strategic workforce planning and culture building with day-to-day operational delivery.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Partnering with the CEO and leadership team to drive workforce planning, succession, and organisational design.
  • Leading end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Delivering engagement, wellbeing, and recognition programs that strengthen culture.
  • Supporting leaders with performance frameworks, coaching, and capability development.
  • Overseeing health, safety, and wellbeing programs, ensuring compliance and fostering a safe workplace.
  • Overseeing employee relations, EA negotiations, and compliance with workplace legislation.
  • Contributing to change management, diversity & inclusion, and ESG initiatives.

About You

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • 7–10 years' experience in senior HR / People & Culture roles.
  • A strong track record in industrial relations and EA negotiations.
  • Expertise in organisational development, change management, and workforce planning.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills with senior leaders.
  • The ability to work strategically while being hands-on in delivery.
