This newly created role is crucial as our Client aims to establish robust frameworks and manage ongoing risks, with a specific focus on resilience and disaster recovery. As a Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the resilience of our systems and implementing a comprehensive DR (Disaster Recovery) system. This position requires strong governance skills, policy development expertise, and a solid understanding of risk management within the technology sector.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to safeguard our organization against potential disasters and disruptions.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) system, ensuring that our systems and operations are resilient and capable of recovering swiftly in case of any incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and identify potential risks, evaluate their potential impact, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular risk reports to the technology and executive leadership teams, communicating effectively both in written and oral formats.
- Act as a key point of contact for risk-related matters, offering expert guidance and support to stakeholders across the organisation.
- Lead policy creation and drive necessary changes to enhance resilience across all areas of the company's operations.
- Utilize your strong communication skills to convey risk factors and recommendations to various stakeholders, fostering a culture of risk awareness and proactive management.
