Mdx Accounts Receivable

As part of the Freightways Ltd Multinational Group, Med-X Healthcare Solutions is a rapidly growing company providing complete Clinical Waste, Sharps Disposal and Hygiene & Washroom Solutions. This is an onsite Fixed Term Full Time role’s primary focus is to execute Accounts Receivable functions for all of our MED-X branches and to support the Accounts Receivable Team within our group of companies. Working closely with our internal and external customers to ensure account maintenance and timely payment while providing the utmost customer care. **Roles & Responsibilities**: - Debt collection of outstanding accounts - Debtors’ ledger - aging summary, approx. 2600 active customers - Support the maintenance of the customer data base - Perform reconciliation of accounts receivable bank statements - Prepare, upload and lodge invoices to customer online payment portals - Ensure correct allocation to invoices and credit notes (in ERP) - Respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner - Execute positive cash flow and control risk of doubtful debts - Support receipt of customer payments (direct deposit, cheque, credit card & Pay-Way) - Perform monthly reconciliation general ledger to accounts receivable trial balance - Month end reporting - Manage EOM invoice run process - Assist with internal and external audit requirements - Review and maintain procedure manuals - Provide support, training and assistance to team members as required. **Key knowledge, Experience and Skills required**: - Highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication and negotiation skills - Strong relationship-building skills, with both internal and external customers - 3 years minimum experience in an accounts receivable role of similar size and scope - Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar preferred) - High degree of accuracy and attention to detail - Experience in large ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP) - An ability to work independently and part of a team - Demonstrate time management ability to plan, prioritise and independently to achieve goals and deadlines - Recognized ability to form relationships with customers to assist in debt management and payment planning - Proven ability to perform multiple entity bank reconciliations - Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers and people - Proficiency in English and in MS Office (Excel, Intermediate level including V-Look-ups, Pivot table’s, formatting etc) **What's in it for You**: - Stable and Growing Multinational Business - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Drake Workwise, which covers mental health, nutrition, financial, legal, coaching and career transition support - Access to corporate discounts - Street Parking **Shortlisted applicants will be required to**: - Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia - Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to their position - Appropriate immunisation requirements, including COVID 19 vaccinations.
