**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, training and support.
- Oversee daily accounts receivable operations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage outstanding customer invoices, ensuring timely collection and following up with clients as necessary.
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and other internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Prepare and analyse aging reports to track receivables and identify potential risks or issues.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards, along with maintaining proper documentation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the accounts receivable process, including improving cash flow.
- Prepare and report on KPIs for the accounts receivable team, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices.

**We are looking for**:

- Tertiary Education in Accounting, Financia, or other related field for Accounts Receivable (preferred).
- 5+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable or related finance roles, with at least 3+ years in a managerial capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Excellent understanding of accounts receivable processes, billing and collections for a customer database of over 15,000 customers.
- Experience with Customer portal environments for uploading invoices for payment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
