**Your new company**
This well-known Federal Government department is seeking 2-3 x APS6 Policy Officers to join one of their branches and sections that works on a broad range of issues and contributes to a range of topics in cyber resilience policy and advising on sector specific security issues and emerging technologies. The section also advises on policy and legislative frameworks that impact the telecommunication sector. The positions have recently become available due to a restructure and an increase in workload.

**Your new role**
You will receive an excellent opportunity to be a part of a small team responsible for driving work that will help shape telecommunications policy. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Preparing briefs for the Senior Executive.
- Arranging and attending meetings with key stakeholders.
- Researching complex issues.
- Developing and maintaining a professional network across and beyond the department.
- Assisting with other duties as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful for this position you will have previous experience within a similar position and the Federal Government. You will also have excellent communication skills both written and verbally, research and analysis skills, the ability to get across new content quickly, strong organisational and project management skills, the ability to manage complexity and deliver quality outcomes, the ability to use initiative and take responsibility for completing tasks.
