**Our client**

Due to a period of exciting growth and transition, they are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead a team of talented IT professionals and help drive innovation within the faculty. This initial 3-6-month contract is just the beginning of what could be a long and rewarding career.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the performance of systems and services in terms of their contribution to business outcomes, financial costs, and sustainability.
- Provide end-to-end oversight of management of services.
- Lead the delivery of services, ensuring that agreed service levels, security requirements, and other quality standards are met. Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures.
- Monitor the performance of technology services. Provide appropriate status and other reports to managers and senior users.
- Provide technical leadership to optimize the performance of IT infrastructure.
- Manage systems and components in on-premise, virtualized, and cloud computing environments.
- Monitor and report the performance of systems and services related to their contribution to organizational performance, security, and sustainability.
- Act as the point of escalation for technology issues outside of organizational tolerances.

**About You**
- Experience in IT Operations management with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing a team.
- In-depth knowledge of system administration, network administration, and cyber security.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
