**About the Company**

Due to their growth, and desire for continual process improvement, they are seeking a committed and motivated _**‘Factory Team Leader’**_ to join their Team. This role will be full-time, Monday to Friday (7am - up to 4.30pm) and based at the Officer site. If you are an individual looking to step up into a leadership role, or an experienced Team Leader who is feeling stagnant in their current role and wants to take on their next challenge, this role is for you.

**Key responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to**:

- Lead and manage the Production Team of approximately 12 employees, ensuring the efficient functioning of production.
- Includes hands on work (fill in when necessary) but not limited to; flipping and demolding sleepers, preparing & cleaning moulds, use of small power tools, filling moulds, driving forklifts.
- Assist with recruitment, performance management, and training of production employees.
- To maintain a high level of productivity through continuous improvements & optimization,
- Production planning and scheduling.
- Complete all required reports as required.
- Ensure we follow OHS standards
- Ensure that the site and operations areas and all equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition.

To secure a position, _**you will be required to possess**:_
- More than 3+ years’ working experience in a manufacturing facility
- More than 2+ years’ working experience in a production supervisory role (desirable)
- Relevant certificates and qualifications in short courses desirable (health and safety, return to work coordinator, production, or supply chain).
- Maintains a valid and current license to operate a forklift.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office suite experience (basic to intermediate).
- Hard working with a strong team focus.
- A can-do attitude, with a desire to be hands-on and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
