Our Advisory & Consulting Division is committed to providing strategic advice, innovative solutions and service excellence to large middle market businesses and small to medium enterprises. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Accountant/Consultant to join our team. You will ideally be Sydney/Brisbane based, however flexible for the right person.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within a talented, committed, and high performing team and give you access to interesting, hands-on work with both established and emerging clients. You will be encouraged to be the best that you can be and afforded opportunities to continuously develop yourself through on the job learning or specific training tailored to your needs.

**What will your typical week look like?**
- Work on advisory projects in the areas of budgets and cashflows, KPI dashboards and management reporting.
- Assist in the delivery of cutting-edge solutions with our V-CFO offering, developing business and succession plans, financial models, benchmarking and pricing analyses.
- Assist in the preparation of business advice and compliance returns for all types of entities.
- Assist in providing advice to clients on optimal business structures, asset protection and estate planning strategies.
- Utilise your strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (e.g., XERO, QBO and MYOB). Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines within budget.

**Let’s talk about you**
- You are a passionate and innovative thinker who has great in-depth analytical skills.
- You have a qualification in Commerce, Business or Accounting.
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in a public practice or business environment.
- You are working towards the completion of your CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent postgraduate qualification). Have excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills with colleagues and clients.
