An exciting opportunity to work for a multifaceted, fast paced transport organisation in a supportive environment based in the Melbourne’s CBD. The role will report to the Manager, Community Engagement and will undertake communications activities on a major ongoing construction projects.

**Main responsibilities***:

- Develop communications and engagement plans
- Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to successfully implement the approved communications and engagement plans in line with internal and external standards and best practice.
- Provide communication representation as required, including face-to-face consultation with the community
- Coordinate external contractors to design, print, install and distribute project communications
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Working closely with the Senior Communication Advisor
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within community engagement & communications
- Strong interpersonal skills, high level stakeholder engagement
- Must have communications experience in the infrastructure environment
- Experience managing community concerns/ issues
- Strong Project Management experience
- Sound understanding and awareness of transport industry
- Must be fully vaccinated for this position
- Must be willing to obtain a police check for the position
