**Your role**

Reporting to the Business Manager - Dulux Stores Network, this role is responsible for the development and execution of the Store Network Performance Strategy and executing a pipeline of initiatives derived from our business intelligence strategy for the Trade Business. You’ll be tasked with providing leadership to the Trade Analyst team (including 3 direct reports) and collaborate with the broader Data and Analytics community to ensure the development and delivery of our trade strategic imperatives.

You will develop a deep understand of the Trade Business and its strategy, and in turn, assessing how value (revenue growth, share of wallet growth, EBIT growth or cost optimisation) can be supported or created through the use of analytics, data and insight.

This highly analytical role will focus on developing and implementing a suite of tech tools and processes to manage customer segmentation, measure network performance and development of insights to inform our network planning and growth strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop insights to create activations, tactics and personalisation strategies to create value
- Work with marketing, account managements, trade stores and digital stakeholders to embed insight-led practices that drive customer loyalty and share of wallet
- Generate analysis, reports and insights that identify opportunities for share of wallet growth, churn prevention, next best conversation and basket optimisation etc
- Work with colleagues across the DA&I ecosystem to create problem statements that guide analytical model creation that build competitive advantage
- Identify opportunities for eliminating data wrangling and improving data quality
- Provide input, execution and measurement of Trade value pool projects
- Development and maintenance of store team toolkit to measure network efficiency across a number of productivity metrics

**Skills & Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Technology or equivalent experience in driving data-driven analysis and insights in a commercial environment (retail/sales)
- Experienced Data analytics professional with exposure to working with business leaders to help shape strategy through the use of data and analytics
- Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools like Power BI, SQL and edge support systems (i.e. CRM tools)
- Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and present high volumes of data to senior stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen, strategic decision-making skills and ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to prioritise efficiently to support business requirements and operate in a high growth complex environment
- Strong coaching, team development and people leadership sklls
