CNC Brake Press Operator

**Transbeam Industries specialises in CNC plate processing and fabrication of products for the road transport, mining, construction and general engineering industries.**

Due to the expansion of our operations, an opportunity exists for an experienced **CNC Press Brake Operator** to join our successful Transbeam Industries team at Forrestfield.

**This position is**:

- **Monday to Friday (5&2 Roster)**:

- **Permanent** full-time role
- **Immediate Start**:

- **Free Parking**

**Tasks may include**:

- Setting up and operating the large Brake Press Machine (Bystronic Xpert Pro 320/4300).
- Interpreting basic drawings and marking up Parts accordingly.
- Ensuring efficient flow of work to meet company production objectives.
- Identifying damaged or substandard product.
- Performing Machine Maintenance.
- Cleaning surrounding area after jobs.
- Performing assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Adhering to PPE and safety policies.

**Requirements**:

- Prior Brake Press machine operating experience (5 years minimum).
- Prior experience within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret basic drawings.
- Attention to detail and an eye for quality.
- Good numerical abilities.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good degree of physical fitness / manual handling experience.
- Own reliable transport.
- Forklift ticket is mandatory.
- Overhead Crane experience.
- Plate Roll experience Desirable.
