CNC Laser Operator

Transbeam Industries are seeking an experienced **CNC Laser Operator** to join our team in Forrestfield.

**This position is**:

- 5&2 Roster.
- Permanent full-time role.
- Immediate Start.

**Responsibilities/Duties include**:

- Set up and operate the Tube Laser Machine according to job specifications and production requirements.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot minor equipment problems.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production processes.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, following established quality control procedures.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Document production data, including material usage, machine downtime, and any relevant observations.

**Essential**:

- Must have Current Forklift License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
- Provide a valid National Police clearance (not issued longer than 6 months ago)
- Proven experience as a Laser Machine Operator.
- Full training will be provided on our state-of-the-art Tube Laser Machine.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Prioritisation and time management skills to meet production deadlines.

Pay: $37.13 - $38.62 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
