Based at the City of Rockingham’s Autumn Centre, this role provides integral support to Rockingham’s over 60’sresidents, offering a supportive and social environment where members pursue their personal interests and gain access to important services in a safe and happy place.

Focus your skills in enhancing the social experience for persons over 60 years of age, in a well-established Centre with a strong and active membership. Aware of the social needs of these important members of our community, you will coordinate the provision of vibrant services, programs and activities for Centre members, current and future.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to engage with the members to ensure the Autumn Centre continues its tradition of providing an important space for Rockingham’s over 60’s to socialise, pursue personal interests and create supportive networks. Supporting the Coordinator Autumn Centre in leading a small but dedicated team of employees (and a much larger team of volunteers), you will develop and implement initiatives that maximise visitor participation. You will assist in cultivating and enhancing a social and harmonious environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with seniors, people with disabilities and their carers, and volunteers
- Sound interpersonal and public relation skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Sound computer literacy and keyboard skills
- Established ability and knowledge of cash handling and banking procedures
- Previous experience in an administration/secretarial role
- ‘C’ class drivers licence.

We are offering a gross salary of **$74,999** per annum and:

- 11% superannuation with the opportunity to co-contribute up to 5%
- A variety of health and wellbeing programmes including a physical health reimbursement subsidy payment of up to $150 per annum, free flu vaccinations, free skin cancer checks, mental health programs and Employee Assistance Provider (EAP) services
