Based in Baldivis, the Millar Road Landfill and Recycling Facility is a Class III landfill that offers the general public and commercial customers the opportunity to responsibly dispose and recycle their waste.

You will be coordinating an experienced and diverse team of supervisors, plant operators, weighbridge operators and officers.

Focussed on optimising the development/utilisation and success of the facility, you are pivotal in planning and coordinating operational activities on the site which includes landfill, recycling, transfer station and weighbridge activities. You will enforce regular inspections and monitoring of the daily operations of the facility to ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations, licence requirements, workplace health and safety requirements and the City’s Policies.

In conjunction with the Manager Waste Services you will prepare business plans, team plans, budget reviews, financial reporting relating to the Millar Road Landfill facility, and also maintain plans for future development of the facility. You will manage projects including obtaining works approvals when required, drafting of tender specifications and contract management to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

We are offering a gross salary of $112,546 to $118,667, depending on skills and experience, and:

- 11% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
