**Position Description - Tenancy & Asset Manager**

a team to help them create a home where they feel safe, supported and happy.
The Tenancy & Asset Manager plays a key role, in all aspects of tenancy, to ensure that participants
feel well supported in a well-maintained home.
**Responsibilities include**:
Tenancy - Preparation of Letters of Offers for tenancy
Management - Management of initial lease signing and SDA agreements with the
- participants.- Lease renewals, rent reviews and rent arrears management.
Property - End-to-end management of the properties in the MyLife Housing
Management portfolio.
- Managing the incoming and outgoing inspection reports and Home
Risk assessments for each property.
- Ongoing routine property inspections.
- Management of repairs, maintenance, and any defect issues.
- Managing Asset and other registers, as well as preventative
maintenance schedules.
Resident Relations - Co-ordinate with NDIS participants and where required their families,
Support Coordinators, Occupational Therapists, and Allied Health
Professionals to manage visits for inspections and by tradespeople.
- Follow up and communicate to the participants on the progress of
repairs and maintenance issues through to resolution.
- Implementing and conducting resident satisfaction surveys
Fostering a positive - Foster and maintain strong relationships with building managers,
maintenance tradespeople, third party property managers to resolve property
network management issues in the shortest timeframe.
- Represent MyLife Housing on the strata committees where its
properties are located.
**Capabilities and Experience**:
With a desire to work collaboratively in a small dynamic organisation, you are autonomous and
pro-active, with a can-do attitude. You have a calm and friendly approach that enables you to be
nimble under pressure to achieve results. Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter for
this role:
- Problem solving and negotiation skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with
a range of people of diverse backgrounds.
- A demonstrated understanding of property management, that is comfortable executing on
policies, procedures, agreements, and registers. An understanding of the NDIS is a bonus.
- High degree of drive, initiative, motivation, with the ability to deal with multiple and often
conflicting priorities between various parties.
- A working knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with the deployment of property management software to assist MyLife
- Housing in choosing the right platform.- A current NSW Drivers Licence and a willingness to travel to the MyLife Housing SDA sites
- currently situated across Sydney and the Illawarra region.- Acquire and ensure all relevant NDIS screening checks, including Working with Children,
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or Police checks are maintained and kept up to date.
Reporting Line Chief Executive Officer
Location The location of work is flexible and will require time spent at the office
and at MyLife Housing SDA sites.
