In this role, you'll:
Lead the management of access and controls for SAP-based Enterprise Asset Management system (Equip EAM) used across Sydney Trains to manage asset lifecycle processes.

Ensure access roles, System Business Roles (SBRs), assigned to positions are aligned with role requirements, legislation, policies, organisational procedures, and training and competency requirements.

Conduct regular audits and reviews of system access to ensure correct allocations, reduce operational risk and maintain compliance with internal governance and external regulatory standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to assess needs, resolve issues, and communicate changes while working independently within the asset systems function to provide expert support.
 
This is a permanent full-time role, the salary is RC6 ($148,594 - $164,767 plus super).

About you
Hold tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or Business Administration, or a related discipline, or bring equivalent experience working in complex organisations with enterprise systems and structured governance.

Demonstrated experience in SAP security, including designing and managing access controls, using SAP Identity Management and mitigating risks related to conflicting access (Segregation of Duties), ideally within asset-intensive sectors like engineering, utilities or transport.

Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and IT security controls and you can assess role-based access requests and compliance risks.

You're confident working independently as a subject matter expert whilst also being a strong communicator who collaborates effectively with stakeholders. You're also comfortable using a service ticketing system to manage access requests and document decisions.
