In your role as Manager Continuous Improvement - Digital Disruptions you will be at the heart of improving digital experiences for our disrupted customers. You will own the management of Continuous Improvement and BAU initiatives across the digital channels for disruptions.

Leveraging best-practice process improvement models, you will develop, execute and implement innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, and ultimately drive better customer journey outcomes.

You will lead a team including internal stakeholders to review and analyse existing processes, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, design and implement new best practices, and track performance metrics. The Manager Continuous Improvement will drive and embed a culture of continuous improvement in order to drive innovation and generate tangible results, in the short, medium and long-term

To be successful in this role you will bring:

- Strong understanding and demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies, frameworks and communities. Lean Sigma certification is highly desirable
- Demonstrated understanding and use of digital frameworks and their methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, design thinking, human-centred design
- Demonstrated delivery experience using project management methodology Agile, PMP or PRINCE2, highly desired
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, developing and supporting team members to excel in their day-to-day roles
- Demonstrated ability to champion the voice of the customer and genuine interest in driving deep organisational improvements through close collaboration with many cross functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to balance customer, operational, commercial, strategic, safety and regulatory factors when making recommendations to improve processes
- Demonstrated ability to balance short term needs with long term objectives
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills (including vendor management)
- Confident to constantly challenge the status quo across a wide range of operational processes
- Comprehensive understanding of Qantas customer service and operations
- High level of computer literacy with extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, JIRA and Confluence
