**About Us**

Saigon Bakehouse and Van Dough Group is a fast-growing group of wholesale and retail bakeries. We own several of our own retail stores in the Brisbane area as well as supplying Brisbane and surrounding suburbs with our traditional breads, cakes, pies a range of specialty breads, and our Vietnamese rolls, which are an important part of our success.

**About the Role**
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the HR department as well as full end-to-end recruitment process and providing HR advice and support to our Management Team
- Manage a dynamic and energetic team of over 100 staff members, this role will see you deliver exceptional end-to-end employment experiences that include recruitment, providing training and coaching, ensuring all professional development and training is strategically linked to the needs of the business, and supporting all staff members to achieve their goals
- Ensure the organisation’s compliance with all existing government legislations and requirements including fair work, workplace health and safety, anti-discrimination, and the company employment agreement with staff members
- Develop and ensure successful implementation of the company’s policies, procedures, and processes ensuring that they are legislatively compliant and reflective of current best practice
- Be willing to travel between different sites to meet the work requirements
- Report directly to the CEO and General Manager and be required to maintain documentation of the HR activities.

**About You**

An experienced and passionate HR manager, you will possess the following:

- An extensive understanding of the current legislations (preferably in Bakery Manufacturing and Retail) and Enterprise Agreement bargaining
- Be approachable, compassionate, self-motivated, and attentive to opportunities for improvements
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, influencing, advisory and negotiation skills and a high level of organisation skills
- Have significant relevant experienced in developing and implementing new organisational systems
- Have a love in people, support cultural diversity and deal with conflicting priorities that can occur in this role
- Be committed to the growth of the business, wellbeing, and safety of a culturally passionate and diverse workforce
- Ability to work to deadlines and have a can-do attitude.

**Requirements for the Role**
- A minimum of two year experience in a similar Human Resources role
- Knowledge and experience in relevant legislations
- Experience in the Bakery Products Manufacturing and Retail industry is desirable

**Salary**: From $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
