**About the role**
A SHAPE Commercial Construction Manager is an active member of the WA Leadership Team, reporting to the SHAPE WA General Manager. The role plays a key part in the success of the WA branches performance in relation to strategic objectives, financial performance, the development of our people, and maintaining a constructive culture.

You will be responsible for:

- Oversee the delivery and finances of multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, meeting great commercial outcomes.
- Assist with monthly branch reporting and financial health checking.
- Oversee the management of contractual arrangements to ensure professional standards are in place in order to drive competent contract negotiations and administration throughout all stages of SHAPE projects.
- Head contract reviews and project risk identification.
- Manage the performance of project teams and be responsible for the development and mentoring of the people.
- Actively participate in business development activities and maintain positive client relationships.

**About you**
- 10+ years of experience in fit out and refurbishment projects over $10m
- Strong understanding of project management within the construction industry
- Strong financial acumen and communication skills
- A collaborative approach to teamwork and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with solid experience in interpreting specifications and drawings for compliance, buildability and value management.
