**About the Opportunity**

The Risk and Compliance Consultant plays an integral role managing compliance obligations and coordinating risk management activities that contribute to the continued growth of our Home and Energy Division. With a growth mandate for our Home and Energy products, this provides an opportunity to be involved in a diverse mix of established products, early lifecycle products, and products still making their way to market.

The Risk and Compliance Consultant uses their collaborative mindset to work closely with stakeholders to ensure that our risk and compliance obligations are managed and monitored effectively, and uses their strong co-ordination and analytical skills to prevent, identify, manage, and remediate compliance incidents.

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in risk management and/or compliance monitoring in a commercial environment.
- Strong understanding of risk management and compliance monitoring principles and practice.
- Experience in the Retail Energy industry
- Strong knowledge of Energy, Privacy and Competition and Consumer legislation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including an ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organisation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse data for the purposes of identifying compliance risk issues and trends and producing quality insights for business decision makers.
- Demonstrated experience with new products/services
- Ability to navigate uncertainty and adjust quickly when priorities change
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (business, finance, law, engineering)_._
