We are seeking a Prospects and Submissions Lead, Australia to lead our major work winning opportunities for our Australian business, and help our clients understand who we are, what our purpose is and the value we bring.
- You ‘ll be a leader in support, pre-position and produce high quality and compelling bids for our key opportunities in Australia across our different sectors; Energy, Transport, Water, Built Environment, Advisory and Defence. With drive and confidence to network and win work, you’ll enjoy:
- Engaging with key stakeholders across the business to understand and strategise for the pipeline of work and opportunities
- Supporting pre-positioning activities by working with opportunity leads and account leads to develop client collateral and materials
- Working with bid teams on major bids and tenders including formulating the bid strategy and win themes, using best practice tools and templates, editing technical content and writing non-technical content, developing high quality final submission proposals that are aligned with Mott MacDonald branding and guidelines
- Having the ability to work with highly technical teams, and turning technical writing into easy to understand language, using our ‘tone of voice’.
- Coaching key project team members, facilitating workshops and preparing for client interviews and interactive dialogues
- Collaborating with the Prospects and Submissions Manager, Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia to continue to drive win rate, maintain and upkeep the work winning library and resources, develop training programs to uplift capability and drive continuous improvement across the region #LI-MW1
**About you**
Bringing your proven track record in managing and developing high quality submissions that are compelling with having experience withing the realms of engineering, construction or infrastructure will be highly regarded. Some of your qualities are:
- Being a strategic thinker with the ability to work collaboratively across the business and sectors to help formulate winning strategies.
- Understanding technical writing and transforming it into simple language.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign in particular) Microsoft Office 365 (Microsoft Word and PowerPoint) with attention to detail and the ability to create innovative graphics, develop high quality proposals and presentation materials.
