ADP Consulting is an Australian owned multidisciplinary consultancy that provides advisory, regeneration, engineering, and design services for built environments. We currently employ some 250 staff and have 5 offices located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Adelaide.

**About the role**

This role will make a difference to our business by providing the opportunity to start, develop and grow a structural capability in our newly launched Adelaide office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and grow the structural presence in the Adelaide market by strategically pursuing local opportunities.
- Take a leading role on structural proposals and submissions.
- Maintain and improve profitability for the section in line with budgetary targets.
- Involvement from Project Confirmation to completion of design.
- Identify any changes required to ADP systems (QA, Standard Specification, Standard Drawings, Technical memos, design guides, calculation programs and spreadsheets).
- Assist in developing and setting up structural QA process - to align with existing ADP QA process, in collaboration with our QMS team.
- Pro-actively manage performance, conduct, interpersonal and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) issues.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years technical experience (having managed a variety of projects across the full systems development lifecycle and responsibility for delivering large and complex projects.
- Formal training and certification: e.g. - Registered Building Practitioner (mandatory); CPEng.
- Previous experience in understanding ADPs management systems (QA, WHS, EMS).
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels including a proven ability to communicate with technical staff across multiple disciplines.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and affect change.
- Ability to exercise substantial initiative and high level judgment and to work independently and in a team to meet objectives.
- Well-developed problem solving skills.
- Provide technical & training/mentoring to engineering staff
