**About the role**:
In this role you’ll play an influential part in uplifting the governance framework, leading the coordination, support and maintenance of the Corporation’s Technology Governance Framework.

You will have an ability to bring data to life by translating numbers to trends and patterns, providing insights into how the framework is working, ensuring we have a better insight into the data we collect.

As the Lead - Governance & Reporting, you will manage the strategic and performance reporting of the Information Technology Group (ITG), in line with the Technology Governance Framework and against Corporate objectives, business plans and group Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure transparent and effective reporting.

You will use your strong communication and influencing skills to lead engagement in the development of governance and reporting related artefacts.

This role has been newly developed into a lead role and offers you the opportunity to help define your team’s impact on the wider business through committee management, ITG performance reporting and document framework management. You will be leading two well-embedded and experienced coordinators in governance committees and policy and standards.

**What the role will involve**:

- Standardise the implementation and use of processes to support ITG, to enable effective information sharing across governance forums.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Technology Governance Framework to ensure they remain contemporary, efficient, and effective.
- Ensure actions, decisions and issues arising from the Technology Governance Framework are reported to the ITG Executive team, governance forums, Executive and Board, as required.
- Lead the development and measurement of KPIs to measure the performance of the Technology Governance Framework and the governance of technology processes across the Corporation and report these to appropriate Committees, Executive or Board as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of technology governance best practices and implement them within ITG and the Technology Governance Framework as appropriate.
- Manage the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of reporting against ITGs strategic objectives, business plans and KPIs.

**Key skills and experience**:

- Degree level qualification in, business, project management or relevant discipline.
- Substantial experience in managing Governance Frameworks (ideally Information Technology/Operational Technology) for a government or large, multidisciplinary corporation.
- Considerable experience in a similar role, managing strategic and performance reporting.

OR
- Extensive experience in managing Governance Frameworks (ideally IT/OT) for a government or large, multidisciplinary corporation.
- Substantial experience in a similar role, managing strategic and performance reporting.
- Substantial experience in managing, organising and reporting functional activities to deliver organisational outcomes
