Reporting to the** Cyber Security and Infrastructure Manager**, the **Governance and Assurance Lead** is responsible for the development, evaluation and implementation of ICT Governance, risk and assurance processes.

This role is accountable for the Assurance Plan to assist WesTrac to mitigate cybersecurity risk and ensure protection of company and allied assets and information.

**Location**: South Guildford, WA

**Roster**:Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Previous experience in ICT, specialising in Information Security, Risk Management or Audit coupled with relevant formal education or certification
- Demonstrated understanding of information security principles and practices, including risk assessment, and assurance is essential
- Experience in leading a team of technical resources in the support of Cyber Security
- Effective vendor engagement skills with the ability to facilitate and drive proceedings through system resolution and changes
- Ability to work within an environment of competing priorities with strict deadlines and the capacity to share knowledge within the team
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
- Demonstrated ability to manage and report on multiple tasks concurrently, prioritising efforts, managing time effectively, and requiring mínimal supervision in the execution
