**About the role**
As the Configuration Management Officer, you will provide a detail orientated approach to establishing and maintaining configurations for the JP9101 Enhanced Defence High Frequency Communication System (EDHFCS) Program’s Mission Systems.
- Some of your key responsibilities will include:_
- **Support transition** of the existing Configuration Baseline into DOORS**:
- **Maintain key stakeholder relationships and providin**g updates to the customer regarding Configuration Management aspects**:
- **Provide Configuration Management advice to the Engineering **Team (platform, systems and logistics)**:
- **Assist in the management of the conduct of Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)**:
- **Suggest and support process improvement and productivity improvement**:
- **Ensure integrity of the data set/configuration environment via regular audits.**
**About you**
- At least 5 years’ experience in configuration management;
- Knowledge and understanding of industry configuration management standards such as: ANS/EIA-649, EIA-HD-649, MIL-HDBK-61, EIA-649_1 and EIA-836; and
- Ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision and adapt to a changing environment;
- Working knowledge of IFS, DOORS, and similar software
- Understanding of Systems Engineering, and how Configuration Management fits within Systems Engineering processes;
- Previous Defence experience is preferable.
