As we experience growth, Raytheon Australia is seeking a Configuration and Data Management Officer to support the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare (MMEW) program.

You will join the experienced delivery team working in the development, deployment and support of a MMEW system to the ADF consisting of complex hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project configuration and data management plans and processes in line with ASDEFCON requirements
  • Manage project related tools, information systems, and bills of materials
  • Manage and maintain the program's design data, technical baselines, engineering changes and approved configuration
  • Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and manage/track the outputs and changes - e.g. Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
  • Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required
  • Capture Configuration Status Account Information (CSA)
  • Ensure integrity of the data set/configuration environment via regular audits
  • Maintain the necessary controls for the security, export control and intellectual property of technical data
Skills, Experience And Qualifications
  • Configuration management in an ASDEFCON environment
  • Familiarity and understanding of industry configuration management standards
  • Ability to effectively communicate with personnel within the program on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring some explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreement
  • Ability to provide guidance and assistance to less experienced professionals and/or support employees
