Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Configuration and Data Management Specialist to support the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare (MMEW) program.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of complex hardware and software solutions for the Australian Defence Force.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of configuration management principles and be able to develop and implement effective project plans and processes in line with ASDEFCON requirements.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with personnel within the program on matters requiring some explanation or interpretation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project configuration and data management plans and processes
  • Manage project related tools, information systems, and bills of materials
  • Manage and maintain the program's design data, technical baselines, engineering changes, and approved configuration
  • Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings and manage/track outputs and changes
  • Prepare and participate in product technical design reviews and audits as required
  • Capture Configuration Status Account Information (CSA)
  • Evaluate integrity of the data set/configuration environment via regular audits
