Provide legal advice and information about criminal law, including post sentencing advice about appeal and parole matters
- Provide support to the Senior Lawyer and other PAS lawyers by prioritising prisoners for advice where appropriate and finalising lists of prisoners for advice to be carried out by those lawyers as well as completing minor assistance tasks as directed
- Provide legal advice and information across all areas of law, when asked by the Principal Lawyer to assist other FACT teams providing advice to clients and the public
- Provide minor assistance, such as preparing letters and submissions

**You will have**:

- Demonstrated knowledge of criminal law and procedure (including appeals) with proven post admission experience providing advice in this area
- Sound knowledge of family, child protection and civil law and procedure and ideally also have post admission experience providing advice in one or more of these jurisdictions
- The ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members and contribute to team planning
