Brisbane, Australia Legal Aid Full time

Manage administrative activities associated with providing legal advice including liaising with correctional staff at the prisons for advice appointment bookings.
- Help the lawyers prepare for advice sessions including gathering relevant information, keeping detailed file notes and preparing relevant correspondence and court documents.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including Office of Director of Public Prosecutions and Department of Justice in relation to gathering information relevant to a clients' matter.

**You will have**:

- You have legal administrative experience (ideally in relation to criminal law) and able to use information technology systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- You can communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients with complex needs, and provide courteous, prompt and professional services.
- You can build and sustain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders as well as team members and actively contribute to team planning.
- You take on additional duties as required, demonstrate flexibility and reschedule or reorganise work to reflect changes in priority.
