**About the facility**

Barwon Health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is one of Victoria’s largest regional health services with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 8,000 staff and more than 1200 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care is provided to the community through over 28 key locations throughout the region.

**About the role**

As the Project Officer you will provide leadership, coordination and efficient supervision of infrastructure projects for Building Services. You will lead the management and monitoring of infrastructure project delivery through implementation of best practice Project Management principles (including contract preparation and administration) for Building Services asset replacement and infrastructure commitments.

This position will be responsible for working with a range of stakeholders to ensure maintenance and minor works outcomes are delivered. You will coordinate where required, the maintenance and operation of services and equipment during large scale maintenance activities and redevelopments, and to facilitate information flow as well as providing advice on aspects of the maintenance projects where required.
