We are a family owned and operated primary production farm and have an excellent opportunity available for a farm hand to assist us with cattle, sheep and other animals. We are based out at Mount Hunter (10 minutes from Camden) on 250 acres.

**About the role;**

Working directly under and reporting to the farm manager and owner, we are looking for a self-motivated individual who is keen to get stuck in and get the job done;
Fulltime position for the right person, availability to work on weekends preferred.

Experience in driving and operating farm equipment preferred (tractors)

Some heavy lifting required

Attending to animals, feeding cattle, ducks, sheep, birds.

Cleaning of chicken pens and caged areas

Landscaping (lawncare and gardening)

Assistance with fencing

Land clearing (safe use of chainsaw and equipment)

Enthusiastic about learning new skills

Able to work independently and within a team

Enjoys working outdoors

Handling of livestock desirable

Work will vary each day, duties would include but are not limited to;
General farm machinery/vehicle operation & maintenance

Livestock - working with cattle and sheep

Tractor Operations

General Property upkeep

Fencing repairs

Full time position with a negotiable remuneration package, based on level of relevant skills and experience.

About you

Must have own transport with current driver’s licence

Must be able to work unsupervised

Must be reliable, honest and hardworking

Self-motivated and willing to learn

Experience in driving and operating farm equipment preferred.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mount Hunter, NSW 2570: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
