Multiquip Poultry is a National Company that is totally dedicated to servicing the Poultry Industry in Australia. We are involved in all aspects of transporting live birds from the growing farms to the processing plant, moving everything from eggs to fully grown birds as well as transporting feed and grain.

Based in Beresfield we are seeking a dedicated HC or MC Driver to be a Shuttle driver/Yard Hand for a PM shift role.

In this role, you will be responsible to shuttle trucks and trailers between docks, performing general yard duties and washing trucks and trailers.

This is a full time role, 5 nights per week. Shift commences at 2.00pm and is approximately 8 hours per shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shuttle trailers and trucks between docks and various site locations
  • Perform general yard hand duties, including washing and maintaining the cleanliness of trucks and trailers
  • Ensure compliance with NHVR Chain of Responsibility and safe work practices
  • Maintain a good driving record and operate vehicles safely
  • Work both independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Handle physical tasks such as bending, heavy lifting, and manual labour, and use hand tools effectively
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and a professional approach to time management

Essential Requirements:

  • HC or MC Drivers License required
  • Proven experience with NHVR Chain of Responsibility
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to perform general yard hand duties
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Willing to take part in Drug & Alchohol screening
  • Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical
  • Willing to supply recent copy of driving record
