Workforce International are seeking an experienced civil labourers for works in the Newcastle area. We are seeking experienced labourers with strong civil background for this exciting opportunity. Candidates with a strong background in the civil space are encouraged to apply

About this role:

  • $41.10-$41.94/hr ORD + applicable penalties
  • Regular overtime on offer
  • Central Newcastle location
  • 6 months plus work available
  • 5 Days per week (Mon-Fri)
  • ASAP start for the right candidate
  • Casual position with view to permanency for a suitable candidate

Duties Include:

  • Assisting with plant spotting
  • Soil compaction
  • Delineation
  • Following safe work practices at all times
  • Collaborating with the greater team to produce quality works

A successful candidate will:

  • Have 12 months plus demonstrated experience as a civil labourer
  • Be comfortable completing hands-on work on a daily basis
  • Be willing and able to provide a current police check
  • Be able to satisfy a pre-employment physical including a D&A screening
  • Have a valid drivers licence and reliable transport
  • Have a strong focus on safety and hold safety in the highest regard
