Workforce International are seeking an experienced civil labourers for works in the Newcastle area. We are seeking experienced labourers with strong civil background for this exciting opportunity. Candidates with a strong background in the civil space are encouraged to apply
About this role:
- $41.10-$41.94/hr ORD + applicable penalties
- Regular overtime on offer
- Central Newcastle location
- 6 months plus work available
- 5 Days per week (Mon-Fri)
- ASAP start for the right candidate
- Casual position with view to permanency for a suitable candidate
Duties Include:
- Assisting with plant spotting
- Soil compaction
- Delineation
- Following safe work practices at all times
- Collaborating with the greater team to produce quality works
A successful candidate will:
- Have 12 months plus demonstrated experience as a civil labourer
- Be comfortable completing hands-on work on a daily basis
- Be willing and able to provide a current police check
- Be able to satisfy a pre-employment physical including a D&A screening
- Have a valid drivers licence and reliable transport
- Have a strong focus on safety and hold safety in the highest regard
