**Job Description**:
**Technical Specialist - Insurance Products**

The Aon Technical Team is a group of insurance product experts who provide hands-on technical support to all client segments and Aon Service Partners, across all general insurance product lines.

This position sits within a team of dedicated insurance professionals, who work closely together ensuring first class support to Aon staff and clients.

**What the day will look like**

A typical day in the role will involve:

- Comparison of insurance products.
- Drafting endorsements for insurance products
- Assisting with the development and drafting of insurance product policy wordings
- Providing “one-off” technical advice on policy interpretation
- Reviewing clients’ and prospective clients’ insurance policy wordings
- Contribution to the development of internal communications on insurance product developments

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Strong client focus and service orientation
- Self-motivated to develop knowledge of unfamiliar products and push past own comfort zone
- Collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Well-organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Adaptable and supportive of change initiatives/efforts.
- Knowledge of General Insurance and Qualifications in Law is desirable.
