**An opportunity has become available for an Integrated Planning and Reporting Officer to join our team at Georges River Council, based in Hurstville.**

**About the Role**

Georges River Council is seeking to appoint an Integrated Planning and Reporting Officer who will be responsible for undertaking comprehensive strategic planning and performance reporting that supports the Georges River Council vision and Community Strategic Plan and encourages continuous improvement across the organisation.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing corporate performance frameworks, monitoring and reporting systems.
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation and negotiation with a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to produce and edit written material of a high standard with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated investigative and research skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in dealing with sensitive, confidential and sometimes controversial information.
- Demonstrated high-level organisation skills, including ability to set work priorities and meet predetermined deadlines and commitments.
- Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive, collaborative and service-oriented relationships

**Desirable**
- ** **Knowledge of the NSW Local Government Act (1993), relevant legislation, policy and best practice in relation to Integrated Planning and Reporting and Strategic Planning.
- Knowledge of business and quality excellence frameworks e.g. EFQM, Australian Business Excellence Framework.
- Technical competence and experience using Pulse, CM9, TechnologyOne and InfoCouncil.
