Risk and Governance Advisor

**About the Role**

The Risk and Governance Advisor plays a key role in supporting the Victorian Curriculum F-10 Revision and Familiarisation project. In this role, you will contribute to risk assessments, compliance and analysis of projects to ensure the maintenance of the risk and issues registers for the team.

The role provides secretariat support for reform governance committee(s) in the VCAA. You will support the management of governance processes, including managing the quality assurance process for governance papers. Additional tasks may include policy research, development of policy options, and stakeholder engagement. Administrative support for the Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0 website, including updating content in the content management system, will also be required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include:

- Managing the risk and issues registers for the F-10 Revisions and Familiarisation Team
- Reviewing policy and governance requirements and analysing processes and procedures used by the F-10 Revisions and Familiarisation Team to ensure compliance
- Undertaking analysis of risks and providing advice for projects within the F-10 Revisions and Familiarisation Team
- Use agreed processes and protocols to maintain accurate records for the team
- Perform as secretariat for reform governance group(s) within the VCAA, including managing the quality assurance process for governance papers
- Uploading and quality assuring content using the content management system of the Victorian Curriculum F-10 Version 2.0 website.

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Division - Victorian Victorian Curriculum & Assessment Authority**
The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian students birth to 18 years.The Curriculum Division manages the development and supports the implementation and assessment of Victorian learning and development frameworks and curriculum from birth to Year 12, including the VEYLDF, the Victorian Curriculum F-10, the VCE and the VPC, which incorporates the VCE VM and VET programs.

The Victorian Curriculum F-10 Revision and Familiarisation Unit is one of 7 units in the Curriculum Division. The Victorian Curriculum F-10 Revision and Familiarisation Unit leads the revision of the Victorian Curriculum F-10 and the development of familiarisation resources (professional learning and supporting resources) to support the implementation of the curriculum in Victorian schools.
