**The Role**:
This Government Agency is seeking a Risk Advisor to provide expert advice and support to business areas to maintain and develop new risk strategies.

**The Responsibities**:

- Provide risk analysis, expertise, and guidance to improve the risk management process.
- Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of a Risk and Compliance Management System.
- Assist managers in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement thus enhancing risk-based decision making.
- Assist the business in the development of assurance toolsAssist the business in the development of assurance tools.
- Support provision of advice to Executive over the effectiveness of controls, mitigating current and evolving risks and in so doing enhancing the controls culture.

**Skills & Expereince Desired**:

- Expereince as a Risk Adviser for a minimum of 5 years.
- Strong and practical understanding of risk and compliance, risk/governance framework.
- Extensive experience in risk management, particularly in the areas of data analysis and project/program level risk improvement process in a commercial environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation and delivery of reports, briefs.
- Knowledge and understanding of related risk management standards or requirements (e.g., ISO31000, Victorian Government Risk Management Framework)
