**The role**

This Government Department is seeking Risk Advisor to join the team. You will be responsible for undertaking capability and communication activities to support effective planning, risk management, reporting and business continuity activities.

It is a 6 months contract role with possible extensions.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop departmental performance goals and targets for incorporation into planning, reporting and risk processes
- Participate in strategic planning activities and contribute to strategic decision making processes, including undertaking research and analysis to identify issues and inform advice
- Provide quality assurance of products so that they meet stakeholder requirements and strive to exceed expectations
- Design and maintain sharepoint and intranet sites, as well as other resources that relate to strategic planning, business planning, reporting, business continuity and risk management
- Undertake communications activities

**Required**
- Experience in organising and providing information that supports decision making
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
