**The role**

Our client is an iconic Australian retailer who is looking for an experienced Public Relations Manager. This leading department store is dedicated to making fashion, style, and quality affordable for the whole family. This is a strategic and tactical practitioner position providing external strategic and tactical communication advice and plans to the business.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all internal and external PR programs and communication activities are aligned to the strategic and business objectives.
- Support the build and management of our PR and Social media events. to drive awareness and commercial outcomes for Target brand and products.
- Help in designing and reviewing a variety of promotional and marketing materials.
- Design and review the online content in media announcements and media kits.
- To cohesively work with Head of PR & Social Media to produce and edit all on-brand editorial material such as feature stories, media releases, research reports, presentations, blog posts, video content, profiles, speeches, interview preparation materials & key messages.
- Manage all media relations, online in Australia and New Zealand.
- Deliver campaign goals and deliveries along with relevant stakeholders across brand, product, marketing and social.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ year's experience within a marketing role.
- Degree level education in business, commerce or marketing disciplines.
- Proven experience in PR, Events and Social media strategic level marketing management position.
- Well-developed marketing skills across the whole marketing spectrum; all-rounder.
- Proven results working in a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing a medium to large sized team.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
