Project Officer, Licensing

The Project Officer, Licensing reports into the Manager, Scientific & Pest Animals Licensing. The role is a job-share arrangement and works closely with fellow part-time officer. With an eye for detail and a systematic approach, you will use your excellent communication skills to facilitate compliance and support best practice. The successful applicant will work effectively as a member of a team, enjoy flexible working arrangements and undertake a wide variety of work.
**Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications**
- High level written and oral communication skills, as evidenced by the production of succinct, concise and clear briefings and documents
- Demonstrated ability to flexibly adapt to emerging priorities and manage competing demands, while being able to focus accurately and consistently on detail, and identify errors and inconsistencies
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to forge productive partnerships with people across different levels, to enable collaboration in implementation, and build trust through consistent actions
- Demonstrated initiative in developing solutions to operational problems, with proven data management and analysis skills, and the ability to deal with different concepts and complexity comfortably
- Proven track record working effectively in a team environment, using initiative and setting high standards of performance, collaboration and information sharing
**This is a part time fixed term (0.6 FTE) position available until 30 May 2025. The work location for this position is Attwood with hybrid work arrangements available.**
