The role
In this role you will be a part of the Employee Relations Centre of Expertise team within HR, providing expert advice and assistance across the department on all industrial and employee relations matters.
We are looking for a skilled, passionate and enthusiastic leader who can provide expert level advice and who works collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of exceptional HR services.
This role reports to the Principal Advisor, Employee Relations.

What you will be doing
- Contributing to the implementation of effective industrial and employee relations strategy across the department, including the development and implementation of human resources policies and initiatives.
- Assisting in the negotiation of enterprise bargaining agreements, including coordination of related activities.
- Working in partnership with HR Business Partners to provide advice and coaching to managers and supervisors on a diverse range of human resource issues.
- Liaising with employee organisations on specific industrial relations and human resource issues.
- Assisting in the preparation of matters and perform advocacy in various commissions and tribunals including the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission
- Undertaking research and contributing to the formulation of submissions and preparing other high-quality correspondence.
