Due to an internal promotion, Ambulance Victoria (AV) has an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced HR practitioner to join our People & Culture division to provide professional HR advice and coaching to our operational and corporate client groups.

The position is fulltime and based in our Doncaster office, with a Working from home hybrid arrangement available and will be negotiated with the successful applicant, taking into consideration the requirement to travel to support client groups.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior People Partner, the Advisor Human Resources contributes to a broad range of People and Culture initiatives and provides critical human resources advice and support services. The Advisor Human Resources responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Delivering professional HR services, advice, guidance and analysis on People & Culture policies, practices and relevant legislation across the People Services Hub structure.
- The integrated, consistent, and effective delivery of HR services which typically relate to various workplace relations, performance management conversations and general HR advice.
- Identification of continuous improvement opportunities in daily work and projects for HR practices and systems.
- Completing factual analysis on HR data and measures.
- Champion diversity and EEO by advocating the value of diversity in HR practices.

**About you**

To be considered for this role, you will hold a qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline and have proven experience working in a generalist or specialist HR role. In addition, you will have a working knowledge of, and experience in applying, HR practices including the accurate interpretation of regulations and legislation, preferably in a public sector context or large organisation.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills set:

- The ability to adapt theoretical knowledge of current HR issues and lead implementation of change across a large, geographically disparate organisation.
- An excellent communicator, you are personable, self-motivated, and use your verbal and written communication skills to engage with different audiences.
- A proactive problem-solver with the ability to build and foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels and convey messages tactfully and with impact.
- You will also be known for your collaborative working style to ensure alignment and achievement of individual and team goals, coupled with your ability to positively manage changing and competing priorities.

The successful applicant will need to have received the mandated COVID-19 vaccinations and be willing to complete pre-employment screening including a Police Check and consent to pre-employment screening in alignment with Victorian Public Sector Commission guidelines.

This position is graded at AV4. The salary range for an AV4 position is $95,965-$119,761 plus 10.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade applicable to a position.
