Support worker position available for a fast growing, customer focused, family run, disability support company.

Qualifications & experience

Preferably a Certificate III Individual Support or Experience in support work, aged care, childcare, studying some allied health certificate

Current Drivers License & comprehensive insurance

First aid & CPR

Tasks & responsibilities

Assisting clients in daily activities, getting ready, helping clean, assisting in meal prep and assistance in showering

Providing mental health support, companionship and social support.

De-escalate situations.

Provide good communication in your shift notes.

If you are a kind, passionate person with patience and empathetic nature with a can-do attitude; this is the role for you.

Shifts can involve personal care.

Hoist, peg and manual handling, hygiene, medication and seizure experience would be beneficial but not necessary as training will be offered to the right person. We are currently looking for supports for the Moreton bay regional council area.

Must have, Blue card, ndis worker screening and first aid.

**Salary**: $33.00 - $88.63 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
