Our client is an established brand in the retail, FMCG and supply chain sectors with a large and expanding property portfolio. Due to growth and transformation, they are currently seeking an experienced Internal Audit & Risk Manager to join the team. The focus of this position is to refine and improve the internal audit & risk management, internal controls, and governance processes across all facets of the organisation.

**About the Role**
- Responsible for the development, design, and implementation of a robust internal audit plan,
- Remediation of opportunities and gaps as determined by the external audit report,
- Interpret key findings from external audits and bring these to life within the business,
- A detailed review of Finance & IT general controls along with a broad range of operational projects,
- Provide detailed and high-level support to Ho Risk & Compliance ensuring key deliverables for the department are met,
- Communicate and engage with the business and operational stakeholders to ensure changes are being adopted and embraced.

**About You**
- An experienced and seasoned Audit Manager with a proven track record in implementing disciplined audit and risk frameworks to drive change and improvement within an organisation.
- Relevant tertiary education and CA/CPA or CIA/CISA membership.
- Experience gained from working in tier one, preferably Big 4 Audit firms as well as an inhouse role or two in commercial enterprises.
- Working knowledge of commerce and industry, media, marketing, retail, or property sectors.
- Ability to delve into complex concepts and present these in a manner that the entire business can understand.
- Exposure to internal audit environments deploying AI and data analytics techniques will be a distinct added advantage.
