Job Description Summary

ConnectSydney, a dynamic joint venture between Service Stream, Boral and Johnson Controls, will be delivering the Sydney Road Assets Performance Contract for the Harbour Zone in metropolitan Sydney. About the Role

The Environmental and Sustainability Graduate will coordinate all EH&S paperwork, reporting and compliance administration providing information support the EHS compliance reporting and analysis.

Nature of position: Permanent Full Time

Location: Primary Location Rockdale

Reporting Line: Environment Manager

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate all EH&S paperwork
- Review, validate and compile monthly Environmental and Sustainability data
- Keep up to date on key pieces of legislation in Environment and Sustainability
- Assist the implementation of Sustainability initiatives and the IS Operations Rating
- Prepare Environmental Assessment documentation to support project delivery
- Develop relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, participate in sustainability initiatives. Identify risks and opportunities to the Project and Sustainability Strategy and work with the Environment, Sustainability Lead & Environment Manager to mitigate or realise these.

About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering
- Ability to interpret project related documents, preparing reports and monitoring compliance documentation
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with people at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Environmental Advisory/Analysis and Reporting. Knowledge and understanding of the construction industry (desirable)
- Exercises independent judgement within defined practices and procedures.
- May instruct or coach others, direct projects or assignments on Environmental impacts and responsibilities.
