
Sales Vice President, Gbs, HR Practice

**Description**:
The VP (Human Resources) is responsible for the strategic direction of our business to retain and grow it and provide strong leadership and management to the Sales Managers and their teams. The VP will be responsible for developing best practices, the communication strategy and will be a key member of the APAC GBS Sales Leadership Team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Interpret regional sales strategy for team implementation.
- Work with Human Resources product teams and other NCVI partners to grow the practices in region.
- Manage and coach Sales Managers to enable them to coach their teams to approach their territories strategically to great outcomes.
- Align sales organization structure to maximize efficiency and meet corporate objectives
- In collaboration with HR, set a clear people strategy to ensure active development of all associates for success in role and longer term career planning; including succession planning.
- Build top performing, diverse teams. Partner closely with Recruiting to create Hiring Plans to attract and hire top talent to continue driving Gartner’s revenue growth.
- Take responsibility for driving implementation of new sales methodologies and management disciplines.
- Manage your teams to exceed their quotas. Set goals, establish metrics, measure attainment of those goals, and ensure success through management coaching and recognition. Lead with empathy and build strong personal credibility and promote a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
- Build personal relationships with key CxOs across the region.
- Raise Gartner's profile as a leader within specific markets.
**Requirements**:
- Multiple years of proven related sales and management experience
- Proven track record of superior sales performance within teams managed
- Consistent track record of achievement and overachievement of quota
- Demonstrated success in identifying key business issues and selling solutions to resolve issues
- Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships and advise clients
- Ability to lead, drive, and develop team members
- Excellent understanding of Gartner Sales Process; comprehensive understanding and use of Challenger Sales
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing; strong interpersonal skills
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and ability to understand broader business implication of decisions
- Demonstrated success across all 5 Leadership Principles
