Due to significant growth, IronMerge are on the lookout for a Mechanical Draftsperson

Our Client is a multi-award winning global brand that has been providing exceptional diving, robotic, and ROV services for over 40 years. All personnel are actively involved in R&D and developing solutions for new challenges.

This role reports to the R&D Manager and Principal Mechanical Engineer (PME), focusing on drafting, design, and quality control, to ensure continued business success.

**In this role, your responsibilities will be**:

- Creating 3D model designs for parts, assemblies & sub-assemblies using SolidWorks software
- Produce and maintain production files, e.g. DXF's & BOMs
- Develop concepts of working models/drawings
- Producing and maintaining all workshop drawings

**About You**
- Experience with SolidWorks (Ideally 2+ Years' experience)
- Mechanical Background (Experience working with component design and mechanical parts)

**What's Desirable**
- API Programming
- Previous experience as a PDM Admin
- SolidWorks Certification (CSWP, CSWA, or any skill specific certification)
- Hydraulic & Electronic Skillset a bonus
- Experience/Exposure to Machining (Manual & CNC)
- Experience with production drawings to ISO 128
