Austcorp Executive are partnering with a well established design, manufacture and service provider of heavy mobile equipment. They work closely with the mining, construction, agricultural and general freight industries throughout Australia.

The team are looking to recruit an experienced
**Mechanical Draftsperson / Designer** on a 3 month basis with the potential to be taken on for a full time basis after that period.

**As the Mechanical Designer / Draftsperson your day - to - day will include**:

- Produce detailed drawings and models of heavy capital equipment
- Communicate with other departments (Engineering, Project Management, Workshop), provide updates, raise issues, and attend team meetings.
- Perform checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all project drawings and documents throughout the design and detail phase.
- Ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet the project requirements.
- Demonstrate a high standard of personal safety and safe design practices

**A little bit about you**:

- 2 + years’ experience with mechanical equipment and hydraulic systems.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and/or Certification in Engineering Drafting.
- Demonstrated experience with Autodesk Inventor
- Demonstrated experience with Autodesk Vault
- Ability to problem solve effectively
